Controls/IT Integration Engineer
Job Description:
Working with plant manufacturing engineers, support and manage the controls and systems aspect of new program
launches and projects
Responsibilities
- Provide project time-lines and action registers
- Review drawings, develop/validate designs
- Liaison with vendors and suppliers ensuring proper corporate quality requirements
- Coordinate new system integration and infrastructure installation activities
- Engineer the required changes to existing systems, as well as test and debug new system installations
- Provide training and troubleshooting support to plants in the area of expertise (PLC & PC based controls, Visual Basic, SQL, Etc.)

Requirements:
- Bachelors of Electrical Engineer/Bachelors of Computer Science or equivalent
- Excellent communication oral/written skills
- Design and troubleshooting experience of PLC and PC based controls systems
- Experience with Steeplechase, Iconics, Intellution machine data collection systems, or other PC based controls
- Strong VB, C++ and MSSQL knowledge
- Experience with processors, vision systems, and scanning systems
