Facilities Engineer


Job Description:

  • Responsible for all plant engineering activities
  • Responsible for new construction bids including documentation and tracking
  • Collaborate routinely with Maintenance and Engineering within the scope of projects
  • Design and implement new plant layouts and re-arrangements of facilities. You will also be responsible for quotes and purchasing equipment/materials as required
  • Project and manage engineering change programs as they occur
  • Specify, quote, purchase equipment/materials as required
  • Comply with Corporate policies and procedures
  • Comply with local, State, and Federal rules and regulations. Also comply with the terms of the local and National agreements
  • Implements Safety and good housekeeping standards and maintain departmental budget within guidelines





 




Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science degree majoring in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
  • 2-5 years work experience within a high volume-machining environment
  • Working knowledge of manufacturing/assembly processes and business-related computer systems
  • MS Word/Excel
  • Oral communication
