Network Technician
Job Description:

growth and recent achievements, Comtech Group is hiring an
additional team member whom will be located in Windsor,
Ontario.
We are seeking an experienced network technician with
experience supporting Windows (Active Directory, Server and
Desktop Support). This role would require someone to have a
good grasp of networking fundamentals ideally possessing
Cisco knowledge and VMWare virtualization. A passion for
providing excellent customer service is critical for the
success of the role.
Responsibilities

Provide technical expertise in the following areas: Windows
Admin, TCP/IP Networking and Linux Admin at an intermediate
to expert level

Work with customers face-to-face, via email and over the
telephone to resolve technical issues

Plan, execute and report on projects as well as work orders
without day-to-day supervision

Keep up to date with new technologies and market trends,
updating skills/knowledge on a regular basis

Requirements:
-
Possess a minimum of 3 years experience supporting Windows
(Active Directory, Server and Desktop Support)

Excellent customer service skills
-
Understanding of network fundamentals, with Cisco skills
being an asset

Experience with VMWare virtualization
-
Preference will be given to those who possess a post
secondary education as well as other certifications such as
CCNA, MSCE, ITIL and other industry standard certifications
and best practices

Excellent verbal and written communication skills
-
Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle
