Production Supervisor
Comtech Group is a multi-disciplinary consulting firm providing

sectors including Energy, Transportation, Infrastructure,
Manufacturing, Mining/Metals and Telecommunications. We are a

Responsibilities:

Supervision of manufacturing teams to ensure throughput and
quality production in a timely manner

Meet schedule & Quality requirements
-
Ensure the execution of safe work practices
-
Motivate, train and develop employees
-
Understand and manage the Business Plan objectives of the
group and overall Plant
-
Manage staff requirements for production team
-
Ensure quality production practices and production
costs/waste
-
Facilitate the resolution of production and/or process
problems
-
Develop and utilize understanding of Global Manufacturing
System/Lean Manufacturing concepts currently in place
-
Maintain communication with management and peers and act
with a sense of urgency

Requirements:
-
University Degree or College Diploma
-
Flexibility to work 3 shifts and overtime, as required
-
Automotive Production Supervision experience
-
Demonstrated leadership and problem solving skills
-
Demonstrated ability to resolve conflicts and promote
teamwork
-
Demonstrated computer skills
-
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
-
Experience in a Unionized manufacturing environment
